What suitability depends on
Image suitability depends on more than resolution. Viewing angle, lighting, motion blur, distance, compression and obstruction of the face by a mask, hood, glasses, headwear or other objects matter.
- the more clearly stable appearance features are visible, the more informative the image;
- an extreme viewing angle and motion blur may limit conclusions;
- good-quality comparison images are often needed for a categorical conclusion.
